DAY 1
Morning Pick-up visitors at the hotel or at the BMT Airport; depart for YokDon National Park – One of the biggest conservational parks of natural resources of Vietnam with an area of 115,545 hectares. Start the trek (2-3 hours) to discover the park’s charms & its diverse fauna and flora system. Have a picnic lunch in the forest.
Afternoon Keep on the journey for exploring the wildlife. Go up-stream on the S’repok River (1 hour) by boat to enjoy the beautiful landscapes and to wit the daily routine activities of the residents along the river-sides. For this route, you might have opportunities to see many bird species like king-fisher, drongo, oriole,… After the boat trip, visit Yang Lanh Village in order to interact and to share with local people by exploring the multi-cultures and the traditional customs among different ethnic groups of the Ede, M’nong, & Laos,… & take the elephant to the forest!. Walk back to the accommodation (2 – 3 km) and check-in
Evening Have dinner with local dishes. Spend the night in the Ede’s traditional long house-on-stilts which is located nearby the S’repok riversides.
DAY 2
Morning Early morning (6:00 am), go to the forest with the elephant caretaker to take the elephant home for elephant washing (30 minutes), elephant feeding (banana & sugar cane). Especially, ride elephant (1 hour) to cross the S’repok River!.
Afternoon Visit the Tomb of Elephants’ King Khun Sa Nup & the tombs of the 2 elephants: H’Ban and Pac Ku. Move on to visit an Ede Traditional long house-on-stilts (regarded as an Ethnographic Museum); Disvover & get to know the ways how the M’nongs caught & tamed the wild elephants of the former days. Visit plantations of pepper & coffee. Go back to BMT. END OF THE SERVICES!
