DAY 2: Hue Imperial City – Tricycle tour of the ancient city (not including tip) – Thien Mu Pagoda Da Nang – Han River
[Hue Imperial City] Hue was the capital of Vietnam from 1802 to 1945. It experienced thirteen generations of emperors from the Nguyen Dynasty. It is the traditional cultural, religious and educational center of Vietnam. You must visit Hue when you come to Hue. Imperial City. UNESCO recognized the Forbidden City as a “World Cultural Heritage” in 1994, affirming its tourist value. The inscriptions on all the monuments here are in Chinese characters that we are familiar with, which shows that Hue was deeply influenced by Chinese colonization in the past.
[Tian Mu Temple] In front of the temple is the Fuyuan Pagoda, which was built in 1844 by Emperor Qi Dinh, the third emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty. There is a stone pavilion on the right side of the pagoda and a hexagonal pavilion on the left side. The sanctuary behind the pagoda is dedicated to the Three Treasures Buddha. Its location is said to be at the head of the Dragon Vein. Not only does it have good geography and feng shui, but it also has an excellent view of the scenery. The “Han River” vehicle pass was built in 1997 and opened in 2000. The bridge is 201 meters long. It is the first rotating bridge in Vietnam (the bridge deck can be rotated to allow ships to pass). This is what Da Nang people think of. A proud bridge. As the night falls, Da Nang City lights up like a starry night scene, full of romantic atmosphere, and is also a popular tourist attraction for local lovers.
Da Nang Landmark ~ Dragon Bridge” spans the east and west banks of the Han River, with a total length of 666 meters. The entire bridge is shaped like a golden dragon, making it the most representative landmark in Da Nang. It will be illuminated with lights of different colors after nightfall. On the Dragon Bridge, it looks even more beautiful, making the scenery of the Han River more charming.
