Half Day Exploring Hue Imperial Adventures by Vespa

To the Citadel…and beyond!

The day begins with a coffee or juice, where you’ll meet your tour guide at a local café. From here, scoot your way on Vespas to the famous Hue Citadel. Here, you’ll get to learn and imagine the daily life of the old Kings of Vietnam and also see why Hue was war -torn for centuries. After a 45 minute walk through the Citadel, hop back on the Vespas for a short ride to a lesser known historic sight. Visit an old arena, modeled after Italy’s famous Colosseum, where tigers and elephants use to fight each other for more than just entertainment.

From the arena, walk down a path to a temple used for worshiping those elephants. Then it’s back on the Vespas scooters for the most adventurous ride yet, through the rolling hills and pine forest on the outskirts of Hue.

After a scenic stop, it’s off to the final stop for the day – Gia Long Royal Tomb. You‘ll rarely see other tourist at this tomb, so you will feel complete peace while learning about the history here. Finish off the day with picnic style snacks overlooking a lotus -filled pond before heading back to your hotel.

Notes: Stops are used to take in the vibrant evening food scene of Ha Noi, eating and drinking amongst the locals, as well as to brief clients about local culture, lifestyles and traditions. The ride is designed to take in the history and night time atmosphere of this fascinating city.

For private tours, the price quoted is based on a minimum of two guests. For a booking of only one guest on a private tour, the total price for two guests applies. Alternatively, the guest can join in with other guests of Vespa Adventures (SIC), and will pay for just one person on a SIC basis.

For private group bookings of ten or more guests, the join in (SIC) price will apply for all guests.

Children from 0 to 4 years age of age are free of charge and sharing Vespa with one of their parents.
Children from 5 to 12 years of age are charged 70% of the tour price
Escort tour guide is charged 50% of the tour price.
