DAY 2: HANOI (B)

Have breakfast. Hanoi city tour: Restore Sword Lake, the Old Quarter of Hanoi, Temple of Literature (the first university in Viet Nam), HOCHIMINH’S mausoleum and his garden.
An afternoon sightseeing tour features both cultural and historical highlights, comprising the One Pillar Pagoda, the Ethnology Museum, the old quarters and a downtown pedicab ride. The sightseeing day ends with a water puppet show, a theatrical genre reflecting the agricultural civilization of thousands of years ago.

DAY 3: Ha Noi – Ha Long Bay (B, L, D)

After breakfast, check-out then depart from Hanoi and travel by air-conditioned bus through the Red River Delta to beautiful Ha Long Bay. The scenic drive will pass through some of the rural landscape before arriving in the afternoon to the World Heritage site of Ha Long Bay. A Bay with more than 3000 islands, by the time wind and waves had sculptured into fantastic shapes.
Check-in on board, free at leisure time. Have a spectacular view in HALONG Bay. Dinner is served on board.

DAY 4: Halong Bay cruising – back to Hanoi – night train to Sapa (B, L)

In the morning, cruising in HALONG Bay (5 hours), a World Heritage site recognized by UNESCO in 1994, visit some magic grottoes and relax in the best scenic beauty of Vietnam. Lunch is served on board. Return to Hanoi with stop-over at ceramic and hand embroidery workshops en route.
Leave your luggage at the hotel and free time. Back to the hotel at 20.00 to be picked up and transfer to the train station, boarding a night train to Sapa.

Day 5: Sapa trekking – homestay (B/L/D)

Arriving in the morning at Lao Cai Station you will transfer Sapa by bus. Sapa town, the queen of the mountains, is a 40 minute drive from Lao Cai station. Be sure to look out of the windows at the captivating views of emerald green valleys, majestic mountains shrouded in cloud and intricate rice paddy fields. Upon arrival at your hotel you will have breakfast and a chance to freshen up. After which, your tour guide will pick you up for the tour starting at 9am. First you will be driven in a private car to Lao Chai, an established Hmong minority village which has been inhabited for centuries. Trekking through this village you will have the opportunity to see the products of this rich culture at its best, with hereditary rice terraces, traditional homes and a vibrant community. We will then trek on to Ta Van village where you will visit the Giay minority people. This group traditionally fished for a living and as a result established themselves close to rivers. They have mastered the art of fishing with bamboo sticks, and cook the fish inside bamboo. Nowadays however you are more likely to see the Giay working in fields planting or harvesting rice.Transport will be waiting at Ta Van bridge to take you back for lunch at a local restaurant in Sapa.

Then at 2pm your guide will collect you and you will be driven in a private car to the Silver Waterfall, with a 300m drop. Scenic steps will lead you to the foot of the waterfall and the perfect place for photos. Continuing our journey, we will drive a further 3 km to the Tram Ton Pass, the highest mountain pass in Vietnam at approximately 2000m. At this height you will feel the temperature drop but the views are truly stunning, and you will have the opportunity to stretch your legs, explore and take photographs. A further 3km drive will take you to the start point of your next walk, a path through the primary forest to the Love Waterfall, following the crystal clear waters of the Golden Stream. This area is known for cardamom crops, used for medicine or cooking and are a significant source of income for the minority people. Having returned to the car you will be driven back to your hotel where you will have dinner.

Your overnight stay will be in a comfortable Sapa hotel.

Day 6: Sapa – night train back to Hanoi (B,L,D)

After breakfast, visit one of the various weekly ethnic markets found in this area. (Please note that the market available will depend on the dates of your tour). After the market tour you will be driven back to Lao Cai station with plenty of time to spare before you train is due to depart.

Day 7: Hanoi – Hue (B)

Train arrives early in the morning. Take a bus to the airport for a flight to HUE. Meet your Guide in HUE and have breakfast at local restaurant. Tour around city: visit Royal Palace, tombs of King TU DU, Dong Ba local market. Take the boat trip cruising along the Perfume River to visiting THIEN MU Pagoda. . In the evening: Enjoy traditional music show on Perfume River.

Overnight in Hue.

Day 8: HUE – DA NANG – NHA TRANG (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, travel to Da Nang, stop – over on HAI VAN Pass, past stunning rural and coastal scenery, overlooking Lang Co Lagoon. Continue to Da Nang, and transfer to the airport to take a flight to NHATRANG – city of beauties and beaches. Arrive in NHATRANG, meet the local guide at CAM RANH airport. Welcome and transfer to hotel by air-conditioned bus. Check-in Hotel and Free at leisure.

Day 9: NHATRANG (B)

Free at leisure. Overnight in Nha Trang.

DAY 10: NHA TRANG – PHAN THIET (B)

Have Breakfast and then transfer by shuttle bus to Phan Thiet. On arrival, Free at leisure.

Overnight in Phan Thiet.

Day 11: PHAN THIET – HO CHI MINH CITY departure (B)

Have Breakfast at hotel. At your leisure go shopping on your own until departure to Ho Chi Minh to the airport for flight. Have a nice flight to home. End of services.
