It is the fiercest battlefield of Central Highlands and the strongest base of the USA during the war time. Dak To, Tan Canh Battle Field was realized as a historical site. From Dak To center, we can see Phuong Hoang airport was built by the USA spreads 2 kilometer to Ngoc Hoi district. Some combat trenches are still maintained. Come to Dak To, we can explore not only the historical sites but also the culture of ethnic groups in Kon Tum.
We can take a walk through a suspension bridge to visit a Sedang ethnic village, learn about specific features on ethnic culture in Central Highlands.

DETAIL ITINERARY
08:30 Pick up at your hotel in Kontum, drive to Dak To, by the way stop at Slope of skull (17 Km) from Kon Tum).
09:30 Keep driving to Dak To to have a look at the two Russian tanks which took part in Dak To battle (1972) The summer of fire.
10:00 Drive to Phoenix Airstrip (The biggest American airstrip in Kon Tum during the war time) Have a look the Charlie hill and Rocket Ridge from distance.
11:00 Take a walk through a suspension bridge to visit Sedang ethnic village, you have a chance to learn more about the Sedang people’s culture.
14:00 In the afternoon, go back to Kontum, take a tour around Kontum to see: Kon Tum airstrip, B15, B12 (Mike force base during the war) MACV area.
17:00 Drop you off at your hotel.
