Morning Trip
Departure time: 8:00AM – 1:00PM
Setting off from Café Zoom in Hoi An, we ride over the bridge to Cam Kim island into the beautiful rural countryside, riding along the river, then stopping off at an Ancestral House and a traditional boat builders yard (seasonal) before we set off to explore the sleepy island villages. Zig -zag through breathtaking scenery of rice paddies and farmland, taking stops along the way to learn from friendly local families the art of mat weaving, farming and how to make (and eat) the perfect Banh Dap (rice cracker). After our snack, we ride out riverside to cross a spectacular & adrenalin pumping 300 meter long bamboo bridge to the opposing landscape of the seaboard side of the island. We make our way to the coast at the Thu Bon river mouth, along roads lined with Casuarina Pine & Cashew Nut Trees. Riding into a small village, we stop at a local café to fuel up on local drip -coffee & learn the art of coffee roasting.
Then, it’s up high and over the new bridge offering spectacular panoramic views of Hoi An, which takes us to the water coconut palm fringed Cam Thanh and then on to a delicious local lunch at a pictureseque setting in Hoi An. (seasonal).

Afternoon Trip
Departure time: 1:00PM – 4:00PM
Setting off from Café Zoom in Hoi An, we head out west along the banks of the Thu Bon River, first stopping at a bustling local fish market before heading into the rice paddy rich countryside and local villages, stopping to meet a local family producing the local rice crackers. Crossing a bridge over the Thu Bon River takes us through more quiet villages and then into beautiful farmlands, where we take a break for some local food while surrounded by seasonal vegetables in the picturesque fields of corn, aubergine, sweet potato, cucumbers and herbs. As the sun starts to go down, we set off through the rice paddies, passing duck farms, visit a local mat weaving family and then ride along by the prawn farms and over the river to visit a charming family home where they produce the local & potent favourite brew – rice wine. It is then a short ride over the Cam Kim Bridge into Hoi an as the sun begins to set on this beautiful heritage town.

Chirden from 0 to 4 years age of age are free of charge and sharing Vespa with one of their
parents.
Children from 5 to 12 years of age are charged 70% of the tour price
Escort tour guide is charged 50% of the tour price.
Extra charge for tour guides of languages other than English and French is USD30 /Tour

For private tours, the price quoted is based on a minimum of two guests. For a booking of only one guest on a private tour, the total price for two guests applies. Alternatively, the guest can join in with other guests of Vespa Adventures (SIC), and will pay for just one person on a SIC basis.
For private group bookings of ten or more guests, the join in (SIC) price will apply for all guests.
