There is a place not too far from Saigon but the family could have very fun time. Visiting the farm with many different kinds of vegetables, herbs; getting introduced about every single plant and its funtion (not only for foods but used as medicines also); hand on cooking and enjoy the foods at the end. After that, your family will visit the Cu Chi Tunnels nearby, where the kids could learn about history and try crawling through real tunnels to see how the soldiers lived and fought since 4 decades ago.

KIDS AT FARM & TRY COOKING THEIR OWN FOODS

Jeeps will meet your family and transfer to the farm 50kms away. Meet the Chef and get walked around the farm with the introduction and explaination about the planty of vegetables and herbs that you may not see or just hear before. Especially, the whole process of growing mushroom will be explained carefully. On the walk, you and your kids will be asked to pick up some vegetables and herbs, as they will be used for cooking class later.

The menu for cooking class could be customised as you wish so it will be fun. With the guidance of the chef, your family would find cooking not difficult at all. Once you finish a dish, your family will move to the table to enjoy it before continue the next dish. There will be 4 dishes to be done.

Following cooking and eating, you will jump back to the Jeeps heading to the tunnels. Watching the documentary and then go for a walk to the tunnel site. You will see and learn how the VC (the liberated soldiers) fought and survived during Vietnam war. Tour ends at your place in Saigon.
