Red River Delta is one of the cradles of Vietnamese culture. With thousand years of history, it has been keeping a lot of “treasures”. This trip takes you to outstanding cultural sites to help you understand more about this mythical land by visiting handicraft villages, bonsai farms and an ancient house.

Itinerary
We’ll pick you up from your hotel and head to a rural area.
Crossing the Red River, you will start driving along the dyke. The first site to see is when you get driven through the Bat Trang Pottery Village, which has been very famous for its ceramic products over the last 500 years. Have a short walk through a narrow alley to the river bank, and on the walk you can visit a family workshop and learn how they make the ceramic products. The Jeep will meet you at the other side to continue the trip.
A few minutes after leaving the village, you can see the bonsai and fruit gardens along the dyke from the Jeep. The locals there are experts at cultivating bonsais and fruit trees for the New Year celebration. Turning down a small road, you’ll learn more about that special bonsai village and traditional profession.
Your next stop is at an ancient garden house in the village where you will see and get to know more about the traditional Vietnam of the past by visiting a 300 year old house. The friendly host will be happy to tell you about his house and then invite you have a cozy meal with his family
